Ugo Ezenkwele, M.D., is Restless Media’s Chief Financial Officer. In his 9 to 5, he is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at New York University (NYU) School of Medicine Bellevue Hospital Center. He completed his undergraduate and medical training at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) and his masters in public health from the JHU Bloomberg School of Public Health. A Fulbright Fellow, Ugo developed trauma and injury surveillance systems throughout the Caribbean.

Formerly, the chief executive officer of Revival Health, LLC , he has worked with several diverse clientele including the US Defense Intelligence Agency, the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and New York University. He brings meticulous attention to detail to Restless Media financial management.

In addition to being a life saver (literally) Ugo is an avid musician, having played the congo drums with 32 Tribes, and occasionally as a resident congo drummer at various clubs in New York City. Ugo has encyclopedic knowledge when it comes to reggae, afrobeat and African music, and is constantly traveling the world in search of promising untapped talent. On any given night, you might find him at BB Kings, The Lion’s Den or Bembe.
